The place

Munch Bowl presents itself as 川小碗, with Chinese stir-fry cooking named directly on its shopfront. A bright red façade, illuminated lettering and an open counter give the venue a clear street-facing identity. Inside, bowls repeat through the counter display, carrying the brand’s small-bowl idea from its name into the space.

Through the lens

Orange bowls, timber trays and woven lamps repeat throughout the food and interior photographs. Street queues, occupied tables and counter activity add human movement between the close-up dishes.
