Tea, after dark.
The place
TSUJIRI brings a Japanese tea heritage rooted in Uji, Kyoto, to a menu centred on matcha. The brand traces its beginnings to 1860, with green tea remaining the connecting thread across its drinks and desserts. In Melbourne, that focus appears in matcha beverages, soft serve, gelato and other sweet creations. A cup of tea and a swirl of soft serve offer different expressions of the same ingredient, placing matcha at the heart of the brand's identity. It is a meeting of Japanese tea tradition and contemporary dessert culture.
Through the lens
A night-time shopfront, the movement of a whisk, a pour of green tea. This selection follows TSUJIRI from its illuminated identity to the quieter details of preparing and serving a drink.
